WHS Girls Indoor Track Assistant Coach at Woonsocket Education Department

Function: To carry out the aims and objectives of the sports program as outlined by the Head Coach. To instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assists the head coach in scheduling and providing transportation to tournaments and special like to point out the necessary preparation to hold scheduled sports events or practices and adhere to scheduled documentation to the Athletic Director to fulfill state and system requirements concerning physical examinations parental consent and proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment and training rules and any other unique regulations of the sport to each athlete who is considered a presence at all practices games and while traveling provides assistance and guidance to and safeguards for each student managers and discipline delineates procedures concerning due process when the enforcement of discipline is necessary. Contacts parents when a student is dropped or becomes ineligible. Qualifications: Teaching certificate and experience coaching experience in assigned sports is knowledge and background in the assigned taken a course workshop or has proof of competency in first a certificate or completion of a class in CPR.
