Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAssists guests with all aspects of arriving, locating room, and departing of the resort.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Continually strive to ensure a quality guest experience by providing a clean, safe, welcoming facility at all timesAssist guests with arrival by welcoming in a friendly, professional mannerRemove luggage from vehicles and place on baggage cartsOpen car and hotel doors for guestsDelivery of luggage to roomsDelivery of guest laundry, messages, faxes, etc.Explains to guests operating procedures of TV and HVAC controlsAssists with room chargesGive directions to Resort and area sites or attractionsProvides valet parking and coat check during special eventsStores luggage for guests pending room occupancyAssists guests transporting luggage from room to vehicle at check outAssists housekeeping with V.I.P. and newspaper deliveriesFollows directions of Front Desk Supervisor to assist guestsProvide direction to all lodge rooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, public spaces, vending, and restrooms in a professional courteous mannerKnowledgeable of all daily activities on propertyClean, and maintain public lobbies, hallways and restroomsInteract with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
