The Analystwill partner with Product Development to create new data analyze requested product design changes for accuracy and completeness and extend this data into our ERP whereappropriate. This team member will also own and manage the CN process of change documentation approval documentation incorporation manufacturing implementation auditing and completion. Finally the Configuration Analyst will prepare and present reports (including status of open CNs and CN process cycle time and quality) andidentifycontinuous improvement opportunities to the CN process to reduce cycle time and improve quality.KeyResponsibilities:New Data CreationGuide and support Product Development Teams on CM activitiesAttend Team Material meetings and report on status of all BOMs parts and documentsCoordinate initial release of new part/BOM/doc objects and review for completenessFacilitate part/BOM/doc lifecycle progression and release by using reports to show status of objects preventing promotion in our Windchill environmentNew Data ExtensionWork with Engineer to release BOMs / Parts to manufacturing for planning prototyping production and sales.Manage data extension priorities per program build schedulesNotifycustomerupon completion of data extensionInitiate Part/BOM Extension requests through Proto.Initiate material/ BOMcreation within NetSuite by coordinating data for our NetSuite ops team.Intervene with businesses to resolve data issuesChange Review Impact Analysis and ApprovalsReviewsubmittedDeviations and CNs for completeness.Initiate CN Impact Analysis.Manage CN approvals.Managecreation of new Part/BOM/DocumentsSystematically initiateECMsfor Deviations and CNs through WindchillAudit BOMs extended to the plant via CN to ensure accuracyOther FunctionsProvide Windchill task training andReporting capabilitiesRespond to Customers concernsPublish data quality and process metricsWork with Data Process Managers to specify tool requirementsWork with Data Process Managers on continuous process improvementsWork on collaborative projects within Bose as PCM representativeSupport Companyobjectivesby completingadditionaltasks as neededQualifications:Strong communication(verbal and written) and interpersonal skills arerequiredAbility to analyze and evaluate PDM business requirements of varying complexity requiring an understanding of the PDM systemAbility to act independently under general direction to define lead implement and document PDM system process changes in support of business process solutionsStrong understanding of configuration management principles including data and document integrityaccessibilityand audit policiesStrong understanding of material management principlesStrongknowledgea PDM system (like Windchill) with specific knowledge of life cycle managementStrong problem solving and analytical skillsTeam playerWillingness to changeCreative ThinkerDetail orientedAbility to multi-taskAbility to work under pressureFlexibilityAdditional Requirements:Works oncomplex globalproblems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation ofvarious factors.
