Compensation Range: $ - $ (depending on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 - 4:30 PGT Innovations (Part of MITER Brands ) is seeking a Field Service Technician II with two to three years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or window and door repair. This role involves diagnosing service issues, determining warranty vs. installation concerns, and performing repairs safely and professionally. ResponsibilitiesCommunicate courteously with co-workers and customers at job sites or residencesSchedule service calls based on urgency and availability.Order necessary parts and reschedule appointments if parts are unavailableTroubleshoot product issues and implement corrective actionsAssist in training and mentoring junior techniciansSafely operate hand and power toolsDocument service calls using mobile devices (iPad, Surface, etc.)Submit service completion details using company softwareMaintain service vehicle cleanliness and functionalityManage inventory of parts and supplies in warehouse and vehicleInspect incoming parts for quality; reject and reorder as neededCollaborate with other technicians on multi-tech projectsEnsure job sites are left clean and in original conditionProvide feedback to Field Service and Manufacturing teamsNotify distributors of installation-related issues when applicableQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredStrong knowledge of PGT products and warrantiesTwo to three years of experience in manufacturing or window/door repairProficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and WindowsComfortable using iPads and mobile devices for documentationAbility to work independently and in a team settingClean driving record per PGT's safe driving policyExcellent knowledge of hand and power tool safetyField Service experience preferredSelf-starter with high motivationCommunicate effectively and courteously with customers, builders, and co-workersAbility to read and comprehend instructions and memosAbility to write clear correspondenceComfortable presenting information in small group settingsBilingual in English and Spanish is a plus (especially in high Spanish-speaking areas)Diagnose repair issues and develop corrective action plansRecognize potential liability situations and escalate appropriatelyNotify appropriate personnel for guidance in complex case.Valid Class D Driver's LicenseAerial Lift Qualified (or ability to become qualified within 6 months)What We OfferOur benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
