Job Description ️ Window and Door Field Service Technician I is available in Salt Lake City, UtahAs a Field Service Technician, you'll be the face of Milgard in the field, providing expert service to our customers. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain windows and doors, ensuring every visit reflects our commitment to quality and care. Compensation Range: $ - $ (depending on experience) Schedule: Monday - Friday, starting at 6:00 As part of MITER Brands-home to trusted names like Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGT Innovations-we serve builders, remodelers, contractors, and homeowners nationwide with integrity, innovation, and excellence.ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site inspections of windows and doorsDiagnose and repair product issues with precisionCommunicate effectively with customers to understand and resolve concernsDocument service visits and maintain accurate recordsCollaborate with internal teams for timely issue resolutionMaintain a clean, organized service vehicle and manage inventoryFollow safety standards and company policiesRecommend preventative maintenance and upgrades to customersQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical certification a plus)Proven experience as a service technician in the window/door industry (Milgard experience preferred)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyValid driver's license with a clean driving recordPhysical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbsWhat We OfferOur benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
