Wire Design & Install Engr Mid-LevelCompany:Boeing Aerospace OperationsBGS is seeking a P-8 Wire Design & Install Design Engineer in Jacksonville Florida to support the P-8 Modification Program. Our teams are currently looking for a Mid-Level (Level 3) Engineer to work with this Program.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Jacksonville FL facility.Position Responsibilities:Work with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing Quality Planning and other Engineering groups) to assess and implement wire design/wire installation changesCreate Production Action Requests (PARs) in EWITS as requiredEnsure that PARs provide all pertinent information for the customer and follow-on commoditiesInvestigate and resolve discrepancies in wiring diagrams and between wiring diagrams and functional schematics to ensure design accuracy and functional alignment of the systemDiagnose and resolve test failures related to wire routing signal integrity or electrical connectivity (e.g. how improper bend radius or incorrect coax routing can cause signal failures)Perform on-aircraft investigations to support troubleshooting of wiring discrepancies including connector pinouts harness damage continuity faults and configuration mismatchesCoordinate with design engineering manufacturing and quality teams to validate and implement corrective actions for discovered wiring issuesSupport design work for both installs and wire design effortsThis position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S. Security Clearance.
