In support of their needs, we are looking for a Wire Harness Design & Release Engineer (Power & Signal Distribution / PASD Release Engineer) . Job Description: Job Title: Wire Harness Design & Release Engineer (Power & Signal Distribution / PASD Release Engineer) Job Location: Auburn Hills, MI Work Schedule: On-site Rate: $60/hr, Based on experience. Responsibilities: Responsible for end-to-end design, validation and PLM release of LV and HV wiring harness assemblies and related components. Owns creation of drawings (2D & 3D), wiring lists, BOMs, and ECNs; coordinates prototype and vehicle integration activities and provides plant support during pilot and production launches. Key Responsibilities • Design and release wiring harness assemblies (schematics, pinouts, wire-lists). • Produce 2D harness drawings in Capital/XC and 3D routing/geometry in NX/CATIA. • Manage BOM, ECNs, and configuration control through Teamcenter/PLM. • Support prototype builds, vehicle integration, and bench validation. • Lead DFMEA inputs; participate in DVP&R; planning and testing. • Coordinate with packaging, electrical architecture, suppliers and manufacturing. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering. • 3+ years wiring harness design/release experience (Capital, VeSys, NX/CATIA, Teamcenter). • Strong PLM/ECN experience and familiarity with DVP&R; / DFMEA. Preferred • OEM/Tier-1 wiring experience, HV harness exposure, launch support background.
