Drawing inspiration from its rich heritage as an inventor company Baker Hughes harnesses the passion and expertise of its people to improve productivity throughout the entire oil and gas value chain.Partner with the bestAs a Wireline Field Operator you will be fully competent in all aspects of operator duties at the well site and at the shop can maintain the unit and perform all pre-job duties well-site operations and post-job duties as well as training of junior operators.As a Wireline Field Operator you will be responsible for:Preparing for jobs and performing tool maintenance pre-job and post- job tool checkout.Rigging-up and rigging-down equipment at the well site.Servicing mechanical devices and building logging cable headsPerforating cable heads and maintenance on the toolsMaintaining well site/DOT records and communications as required by District ManagerPromoting and maintaining good customer relationsReceiving instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well site activityPerforming basic duties at the well site and at the shopDriving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing company and government regulationsParticipating in quality improvement efforts for ballistics operationsSupervising and train other Field Operators while maintaining a high level of safety awareness at the well sitePerforming other related duties as requiredFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have high school diploma or equivalent educationHave strong mechanical aptitudeMust be able to drive a manual (stick shift) vehicle and have a class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or You must successfully pass the Companys driving test on a manual (stick shift) vehicle and obtain your Class A or B CDL and/or Hazmat Endorsement withing 6 months of employment.Have ability to work and communicate well with customers and employeesHave ability to work on-call 24x7 and flexibility to work at well sites for extended periods of timeHave a clean driving record and the ability to pass a federal background checkHave ability to utilized computers for communication reporting and other work-related purposesHave to be 21 years of age or older in order to obtain ATF explosives certificationWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns:This role is working with our customer on-site in locations across the world.
