If you have the required skill set education requirements and experience please click the submit button and follow for next steps.Utility Services Group Inc. specializes in underground infrastructure inspection maintenance and trenchless repair of storm and sanitary sewer systems.Summary:Perform inspections diagnose and perform mechanical adjustments repairs and parts replacements for customer vehicles company fleet vehicles and mechanical equipment.Why UsClothing allowanceSteel toe allowanceKey ResponsibilitiesDiagnostic services through proficient use of electronic testing equipmentDiagnose problems and estimate repair costs according to appropriate guidelinesPerform minor electrical repairs (i.e. electrical components power windows power mirrors door locks etc.)Specialized repair and replacement services to include: fuel injection systems gas and diesel engines on-board computer systems and emission control systemsPerform routine vehicle maintenance on company vehicles fleet trucks (i.e. mechanical work on brakes fuel pumps alternators air conditioning oil changes tire balancing and rotation replacing batteries etc.)Source and order parts as needed.Complete all work orders (including warranty information) and time sheets in a legible accurate and timely manner.Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle requirementsComplete PA Vehicle & Emissions InspectionsPerform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety proceduresOvertime (more than 40 hours per week) and some weekends may be required at times as business needs dictate.Job RequirementsEducation & Specialized KnowledgeHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredValid Drivers License and safe driving record required current CDL license with air brake certification preferred willingness to acquire CDL if you do not have one.PA Vehicle & Emissions Inspection LicenseMust have own toolsAbility to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.ASE certification preferred.Experience 2-5 years automotive/mechanical work experience required.Diesel knowledge and experience preferred.Physical Skills and AbilitiesAbility to read analyze and interpret technical information from schematics technical manuals technical drawings technical procedures and governmental regulations.Basic Computer Skills (i.e. Windows based programs and email)Must be able to work with minimal supervisionDepending on the assignment may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or ability to stand walk and manipulate (lift carry move) weights up to 100 pounds.Working ConditionsWork is performed indoors and outdoorsNoise levels can be loudSafetyEach employee is required to follow all safety rules policies and procedures. This position is a safety sensitive position as defined by the United States Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing regulations. As a safety sensitive classification you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening.
