Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational operations, and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.The North American Money Movement & Stablecoins Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting services for Visa's clients as it pertains to their money movement and stablecoin strategies. Money movement encompasses existing and novel card and non-card payment schemes such as faster payments as well as payments sub-topics such as cross-border remittances, payment hub, open banking, treasury-as-a-service, stablecoin, etc.The VCA team is looking for a Director to join our Money Movement & Stablecoin Consulting Practice and play a role in developing high impact projects for Visa's clients in the NA region. This role is responsible for helping clients with design and deploy their money movement & stablecoin strategies. Core responsibilities include the sale, management, and delivery of both strategic and operations focused consulting engagements in the Money Movement space (e.g., faster payments, stablecoins). The ideal candidate can deliver against sales targets, has experience managing multiple consulting engagements concurrently, can quickly structure and solve complex and nuanced problems, and is comfortable working on the cutting edge of payments to advise Visa's clients.Specific responsibilities include:Meeting sales targets across a diverse set of existing and new Visa clients (e.g., issuers, merchants, technology partners)Managing and expanding relationships with client stakeholders to ensure engagements proposed and delivered add value and are aligned with clients' needs and objectivesLead in the identification, sale, and delivery of Money Movement & Stablecoin consulting engagements and across the full breadth of Visa client typesDevelop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges for Visa's clientsProactively engage with peers in other functional areas (marketing, sales, risk, product) and across global and regional teams to surface novel solutions to client problems and execute consulting engagements in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa's resourcesBuild new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents, and consulting approaches that can be applied across VCAIdentify, build and scale new offeringsDisseminate learnings and opportunities from consulting engagements to peers across the broader organization, supporting a flywheel of innovation and growthStay up to date with emerging payments trends and create thought leadership to disseminate those trends to Visa's clientsThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications:12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhDRelevant client-facing experience selling and delivering management consulting engagements at large management consulting firm or US Financial InstitutionDeep understanding of Money Movement products and operational aspectsExposure to the structuring of custody accounts, asset management, foreign exchange, and rails that enable banks and other businesses to manage and transfer cash domestically and globallyDigital assets background and experienceKnowledge or experience of StablecoinsKnowledge and understanding of banking operations and or payment rails, including products and services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives and payment hubPayments and Financial Services experienceStrong Analytical and Quantitative BackgroundExperience working on Money MovementSelf-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrentlyExcellent communication, story-telling and presentation skillsTeam playerTechnology mindset, curious, up-to-date with digital trends and applicationsAdditional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
