System Architect - SeniorClearance: Active TS requiredEducation/Experience: BA/BS and at least ten (10) years of relevant experienceOverviewNationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Senior System Architect for a potential opportunity. The selected candidate will design and develop enterprise system architectures-including software, hardware, and communication components-to support current requirements and anticipate future cross-functional needs.Location: 100% Remote (must be within commutable distance to Northern Virginia)Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, assess, and recommend solutions to meet functional and technical requirements, including hardware/software updates or upgrades.Develop high-level system design diagrams and architectural documentation.Ensure compliance with common operating environment standards.Analyze workflow, organizational, and planning issues and develop effective corrective actions.Ensure system compatibility and compliance with open systems architecture standards, including OSI and ISO reference models.Apply relevant standards-such as IEEE Open Systems Environment (OSE)-to support implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solutions across application platforms, APIs, and external environments/software applications.Minimum RequirementsBA/BS degree.At least ten (10) years of relevant system architecture experience.Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.About Nationwide IT ServicesNationwide IT Services (NIS) is an IT and Management Consulting company and a CVE-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
