One CaliforniaJob Summary and ResponsibilitiesAre you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for employee safety and well-being Do you excel at managing administrative processes and coordinating critical health-related programs We are seeking a dedicated Workers Compensation Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in our Human Resources and Employee Health & Safety (EHS) efforts.In this dynamic position you will be instrumental in ensuring a safe workplace managing our workers compensation program and coordinating essential employee health screenings. If youre a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills we encourage you to apply!What Youll Do:Collaborate closely with HR to coordinate pre-hire screenings for all employees contracted personnel volunteers and students. Prepare comprehensive new hire files ensuring all required tests and documents are accurately collected and recorded. Conduct drug screenings efficiently and professionally.Maintain all EHS and Workers Compensation records with meticulous accuracy and promptly ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.Proactively contact employees on Workers Compensation Leave of Absence (LOA) as a key part of our Transitional Work Program. Monitor and track their progress with bi-weekly follow-ups.Serve as a central point of contact to coordinate Transitional Work Assignments. This involves effective communication and collaboration with physicians managers/supervisors the employee and the accepting Transitional Work Program department manager.Job RequirementsHigh School / GED required.Two (2) years of recent experience in Workers Compensation in Health Care required.Fire Safety within 90 Days of hire date required.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Corporate Risk Management,Electronics,Infection Control,Bakery,ELV,Accident Investigation Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
