Location: Las Vegas, NVWhy This Role ExistsEvery Skillify program is a spark—a moment where high school students see their future differently. As our Workshop Speaker & Events Lead, you'll be the first person our students interact with when they begin their program.This role is ideal for an energetic, relationship-driven person—especially former student leaders, college athletes, or those with customer service, events, or public speaking experience.What You'll DoLead 6–8 engaging in-person full-day workshops each monthfor high school students focused on career exploration, networking, and self-confidence.Bring energy and connection — inspire 1000+ students and make them feel seen and supported.Travel across California & Nevada to deliver Skillify programs across schools and districts.Collaborate with the Student Success team to ensure smooth logistics, student engagement, and teacher partnerships.Support setup, teardown, and light event coordination as part of the events duo.This Role is For You If:You're electric on stage — students lean in when you speak.You were the team captaintour guide, or college campus leader who made everything more fun.You love travelpublic speaking, and seeing direct impact from your work.You're organized, reliable, and follow through on commitments.You want to grow in education, youth development, or public speaking.Nice-to-Have:Experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or camp leadershipFormer student leader, performer, or athleteComfortable traveling 3–4 times per monthBased in NV, open to relocating to Las VegasJob Type: Full-timeBase Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:Professional development assistanceRelocation assistanceEducation:Bachelor's (Required)Work Location: In personCompany Description:220+ schools impacted by Skillify programs 98% of students said they found the Skillify program beneficial and would recommend to another student85% of students who completed the program secured an internship while in high schoolFounded at the University of Southern California in 2012, Skillify helps students get real world exposure through internships, job shadows, and mentorships.We focus on teaching life-long skills instead of simply placing students into jobs. Skillify students learn everything from networking to resume writing, interviewing, email etiquette, self-agency mindset, dining etiquette, and personal branding. Students are guaranteed introductions to industry professionals in their field(s) of interest and are coached on securing/completing impactful mentorships. We exist so that every student can navigate the real world with high self agency, confidence, and purpose.
