Working Well Willowcreek3325 Willowcreek Rd Portage Indiana 46368WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide a combination of Occupational Medicine Urgent Care and Family Medicine and join our Franciscan Express Care and WorkingWell team in Northwest Indiana. This candidate will be rotating between three designated locations.WHAT WE NEED:The ideal candidate will have experience in Occupational Medicine Urgent Care or Family Medicine. Candidate will have ACLS/BLS certifications and will be able to see all patient types. Must be certified/willing to become certified to conduct US Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME).Ideal candidate should be proficient in:Reading basic x-rays of all body partsLaceration repair/wound careInitial ECG interpretationWilling to obtain DOT certificationUrgent evaluation and treatment of potentially critically ill patients and the appropriate transport of these patients to the closest Emergency Room DepartmentWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:Part-Time Schedule: 3 10hr shifts totaling 30 hours per week1:3 Saturday rotationOffice Hours: Monday to Friday 8A to 6P and Saturday 8A to 4PNo call expectationAverage volume of 4 to 5 patients per hourService all patient types Occupational Health Urgent Care Primary Care - including pediatricsWHO WE ARE:Franciscan Health is a non-profit health care ministry with primary and specialty care physician groups located throughout Indiana and Illinois.
