Yard Jockey ($20/hr)

Second Shift: 2 PM - 10 PM

Join our team as a Yard Jockey, where you will play a crucial role in securing and organizing our container storage yard. You will utilize a yard switcher and pickup truck, directing drivers who are picking up and dropping off equipment, and handling gate security transactions. Your responsibilities will include lifting and relocating improperly parked equipment, conducting security checks, and performing inventory counts.

Responsibilities:

Work Environment:

You will work outdoors in a shipping container storage yard, facing the elements. This is a 365-day operation, requiring work on weekends and some holidays. The role involves outdoor labor, utilizing a yard jockey, pickup truck, and forklift, with the shift running from 2pm to 10pm.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
