Yard Technician at Cisco Equipment Rentals LLC

Job Summary:

This is an opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial and growing business, backed by investors who represent leading figures within the equipment rental industry. Our rental department is seeking a yard Technician with experience in operating heavy equipment safely

Skills & Qualifications:

• Personal skills must include mechanical ability, analytical thinking, and work organization. This position requires knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures, heavy construction/farm and material handling equipment, repair methods and records. This individual must have the ability to prioritize the work to be done and focus on it, possess a high sense of urgency, to be thorough with the work being done, to offer his/her best knowledge of the situation to be used, project integrity and credibility to the company.
• Must have the ability to oversee loading and unloading of heavy equipment on trucks.
• Must be willing to keep an equipment yard clean and maintained.
• Must maintain a well-groomed professional appearance appropriate for the position.
• Performing any other duties as may be required

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read and write English
• Two or more years' experience in heavy construction equipment; preferred
• Must be forklift certified or pass a certification course

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, squatting, bending, or stetting.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
• Must be able to pass a WorkSteps exam (fit for duty) and pre-employment drug screening
