The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for tracking inventory and stock changes to ensure all items are accounted for and ready for shipment. The inventory control associate(s) will ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate and efficient inventory workflow*This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorshipResponsibilitiesParticipate in daily cycle counting and the annual physical inventory process generally performed in December (either of which may include overtime nights and/or weekends).Stock and organize materials from receiving.Consolidate parts from multiple locations to one location.Relocate parts if required to reduce mis-picking and for picking efficiency.Generate maintain and update stock locations.Compare incoming physical parts to receiving log/put away sheets for accuracy ensuring there are no discrepancies.Implement the purge of stock recalled by OEM or product deemed out of date.Download data of parts and input into the computer database.Maintain Alternate locations by warehouse and item.Separate piece parts and rework projectsAssists in investigating resolving and coordinating shipping and receiving discrepancies.Audits quantity to sales order bin location or warehouse management system to ensure accuracy of either on-hand customer order or shipping quantity.Reports inventory variances relative to stocking audited shipments and bin locations.Assists in reconciliation (root cause analysis) of inventory discrepancies.Submit adjustment requests as needed to correct discrepancies.Participate in upholding 6S standards.Support the inventory control specialists with department tasks.Performs any work deemed necessary in all areas of the warehouse as directed by WarehouseOperations Leads and/or Warehouse Operations Supervisor or ManagerCompetenciesHigh school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of experience in inventory control; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous inventory control experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility is preferred.Knowledge of inventory control systemsGood verbal and written skillsAbility to operate across various teams; excellent people skills are necessary.Basic math skills: ability to add subtract multiply and divide.Willingness to respond to general inquiries or complaints with urgency.Ability to effectively present information to leadershipAbility to recognize inconsistencies and discrepancies.Ability to multitask and work through potentially stressful situations.Organized and process oriented.Excellent attention to detail and concern for accuracyAbility to operate lift trucks up to 10000lb. capacity (specifically order pickers)Ability to navigate through the appropriate computer or inventory applications i.e. MS Office Products and Order Processing SystemsOur OfferAn interesting and ambitious role in a successful international company.
