Job Details Hillcrest - Evansville IN $18.00 HourlyJob Description Hillcrest Youth Services is seeking a Full-Time Youth Care Worker (2nd Shift) to join our residential program teams. This role involves supervising youth in our care. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM with an hourly rate of $18.2nd Shift Differential: $0.50WHY WORK FOR HILLCRESTAffordable Health Dental Vision and Voluntary Life Insurance that starts day ONE of employment!401K Employer Contribution & MatchStudent Loan Assistance ProgramPhysical & Financial Wellness ProgramsGenerous Paid Time Off planCompetitive Total Compensation ProgramWHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FORSupervision of residents.Work schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.All new employees are required to complete a 2-week training program.The first week of training will be mostly completed during Monday-Friday First Shifthours 8:00 AM- 4:00 PMAbility to be a positive role model.Provide fair and constructive discipline to the residents.Maintain security and safety of facility and residents at all times.Maintain complete and accurate resident records.Ability to manage personal stress.Administer appropriate medication(s).Knowledge of policy and procedure manual.Transportation of residents.Maintain laundry and general cleaning for each unit.Ability to work with youth of all ages.Previous work with juveniles highly preferred.Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.Screen all admissions/referrals for appropriateness of Hillcrests programming.
