Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNortheast Counseling Services is currently seeking a per-diem psychotherapist for our busy psychiatric outpatient clinic in Hazleton, PA working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The successful candidate will provide clinical services to children and adolescents diagnosed with a mental illness.The role of the Psychotherapist is to provide traditional, ongoing, intensive, individual and family psychotherapy as outlined in a client's treatment plan. A diverse population is served including chronically mentally ill clients and those exhibiting adjustment disorders and other life situation difficulties. The Psychotherapist functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure quality care is being provided and is medically necessary. This workforce member has access to the complete chart for cases requiring worker's involvement.
