About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a cutting-edge technology infrastructure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key driver in ensuring the seamless integration of development, operations, and security, enabling us to deliver high-quality products and services with speed, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Implement Robust Infrastructure: Lead the design and implementation of scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions that support our rapidly growing business needs. Leverage your expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, etc.) to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of resources.
- Champion Automation & Efficiency: Develop and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks for continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines. Identify and eliminate manual processes, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies to accelerate development cycles and enhance overall productivity.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Monitor the health, performance, and security of our systems and applications. Implement robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively detect and resolve issues. Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 availability and rapid response to incidents.
- Foster Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, security, and product management, to streamline collaboration and foster a DevOps culture. Share your knowledge and expertise with team members through mentorship, training, and documentation.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the DevOps landscape. Evaluate and recommend new tools, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve our processes and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Extensive DevOps Experience: Proven track record of 5+ years in DevOps or similar roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and IaC tools (Terraform, etc.). Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Automation & Scripting Skills: Expertise in automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) to streamline processes and eliminate manual tasks.
- CI/CD Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.). Experience in designing and implementing efficient and reliable pipelines that ensure seamless delivery of code changes.
- Monitoring & Observability: Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) to gain insights into system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues.
- Security Focus: Understanding of security best practices, including vulnerability management, threat modeling, and incident response. Ability to integrate security into the DevOps workflow.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
- Certifications in relevant cloud technologies or DevOps methodologies
